My training sessions are intended to let you experience the fun and educational side of training a dog. The Kynagon method is a positive, force-free dog training. As the dogs learn new skills, they become happy, cheerful and obedient. That is why our training sessions are always based on our core values: personal, passionate and professional.
Both my training programmes for the Academy and my individual dog training programmes are fully science-based dog training and behavioural programmes according to the Kynagon Dog Trainers guidelines.

Dog Trainers Academy
For whom?
For everyone who wants to be a dog trainer and for professionals who come into contact with dogs and their owners.
What will I learn?
- The training addresses the teaching theory of animals. You will learn how to analyse behaviour and how successfully to apply that knowledge.
- For example, you will learn to understand dog behaviour and body language according to scientific theories.
- You will learn everything there is to know about cue training and clicker training.
- We will tackle behavioural problems, such as stress, phobias and aggression.
- You will get a lot of tips about client management.
- You will receive practical training with dogs of different temperaments, breeds and ages, for better assimilation of each technique..
Duration of the training programme
12 weekends on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.
Location
The training location is in Amstelveen, at the address: Amsteldijk Zuid 79C, 1184 VE Amstelveen.
Parking
Free parking is available on the premises.
Costs
The costs of the training programme are EUR 4,995 exclusive of VAT.
Individual dog training
For individual training of your dog, we offer three different teaching packages.
If you are not sure which teaching package would best suit your dog, please feel free to contact us, without engagement.
1. Individual puppy training
For a puppy, the first weeks in its new home are extremely important. It is during this period that the foundation is laid for its behaviour later, as an adult dog.
Proper socialisation is the key to a relationship that can last for 12 to 16 years. Lots of positive experiences with people and animals will contribute to the result. By training our small friends from the early age of 2 months, we can prevent unwanted behaviour from developing.
Our goal is to train our puppies to behave, without any form of force or violence, by rewarding them. That way, they will greatly enjoy the training!
Duration of the individual puppy training programme
5 individual classes of 1.5 hours each:
- 0.5 hours of theory
- 1 hour of individual practical training
Location
You can take the individual training at your home, in your dog's safe environment. You can also take the training at our facility in Amstelveen.
Costs
The costs for 5 classes are EUR 495.*
*For classes at your home outside Amstelveen, we will charge EUR 0.21 per kilometre. We will also pass on any parking fees incurred.
2. Individual basic obedience training
There is no age limit for training dogs. Ideally, we would start at two months, but we are also happy to train older dogs with our Kynagon method.
We will teach your dog the basic signals that will help us in everyday life. This way, you will learn to communicate better and your bond will become tighter and more fun.
After this training, your dog will listen to your instructions. The training addresses behaviour like:
- Responding when you call
- Sitting still
- Lying down
- Staying
- Walking beside you on a loose leash
- Leaving objects behind when you ask
Duration of the individual basic obedience training programme
7 individual classes of 1.5 hours each:
- 0.5 hours of theory
- 1 hour of individual practical training

You can take this training at your home, in your dog's safe environment. You can also take the training at our facility in Amstelveen.

The costs for 7 classes are EUR 695.*

3. Individual behavioural problem training
Does your dog show behavioural problems? We will be happy to solve them together with you and your dog, and without creating any new problems. The Kynagon method is based on positive reinforcement, which makes the learning process very pleasant for your dog.
What behavioural problems can the training solve?
Looking at the history of the unwanted behaviour and considering the characteristics of each breed as well as the dog's age, we will work together towards a solution. We work with the broadest variety of unwanted behaviour, such as:
- Littering or destruction around the house
- Separation anxiety
- Playful biting
- Jumping you or others
- Excessive hoarding
- Forms of anxiety or aggression

Duration and costs of individual behavioural problem training
Behavioural problems require tailor-made solutions. That is why I first analyse the history of your dog. What behavioural problems have you encountered so far? After that, I will make a suitable plan and we can get started! Usually, the behavioural problems can be solved with 8 to 10 classes. Contact us for a tailored quotation.
